REMY UPDATES - JAN 2025

Happy New Year!

I thought it might be nice to share a couple of updates since we don’t get to regularly get to connect with our Left Coast family!

To start off, we’re all doing well in the cold, making our way through winter.

Remy started out the year with the flu for a week. Fortunately, Chad and Pam escaped that one (for now). The cold is ever-present here, and while it’s been crazy for the South and the winds and fires have destroyed parts of LA and damaged San Diego, we’re happy all of our family, thus far, is safe. 🙏🏼

As Pam and I shared the news about the fires and our friends who have lost their homes (too many to count), we discussed with Remy what it would be like if she lost her school. She had a brilliant idea, shared it with her principal, and now her entire school is writing letters to a school that’s been affected by the fires in Malibu.

She even made her school’s weekly newsletter (see right)!

Also, this month, Remy is participating in this year’s Kid’s Heart Health Challenge (if you feel like donating just click the image)!

Finally, Remy’s passion for tennis keeps us inspired! She’s been practicing in CT and NYC, and she’s on an Orange Ball Team at her club in CT and having a terrific season.

At the end of last summer, Remy spent a week with Pamela at Fan Week during the US Open, where she got to get a couple of balls signed. In fact, she was interviewed by a gentleman who worked for the US Open. That interview lead to her getting a signature from her favorite player, Emma Raducanu, an interview with Sky News (UK), and she even got to go onto the court and play with Emma!

More below!

Hope you all are well. Love and miss you all!
